Tour Overview
Known as “Rapa Nui” to the natives, this is one of the the most isolated places on earth, located 3,600 km west of mainland Chile. Best known for the mysterious “moais”, these statues of up to 21 metres high and 100 tonnes in weight were hewn from volcanic stone and erected by the hundreds along the shoreline. These mysterious idols, along with the friendly locals, the wonderful landscape and volcanoes make this a destination not to be missed.
