Early morning start to go birdwatching up in the canopy, before returning to the lodge for breakfast. Enjoy a day at the lodge with the ability to walk the many wildlife and birdwatching walks and trails in the surrounding area. Look out for deer, tapir, amphibians and playful primates that keep the jungle alive around you. Serious birders may feel inclined to search for the elusive Rufous-winged Ground-cuckoo among the undergrowth.
Night walks are also possible, with the chance to see some of the six different cat species that call the twilight rainforest home.
Overnight at Atta Rainforest Lodge.
Enjoy another dawn visit to the canopy before breakfast at the lodge to prepare for your departure. Transfer from Atta Rainforest Lodge to the Corkwood in the Iwokrama Forest. Here, you can enjoy a relatively short walk with hopes of spotting the Guianan Cock-of-the-Rock, with guides along the trail providing you with understanding of the flora and fauna in the area.
We will then continue our transfer to Ginep Landing. From here, we will take a small boat on the Rupununi river to Karanambu Lodge. This boat ride will give you the perfect opportunity to look for Giant River Otters, as there are several otter families that call this river home.
Arrive at Karanambu Lodge, a former cattle ranch known for the diverse biomes that stretch across its 110-square-miles. The land encompasses savannah, marshy ponds, riparian forest and a 30-mile stretch of the Rupununi River.

This morning we make an early start to an area of rolling grasslands, home to a population of giant anteaters, which can grow up to 2.2 meters long.
In the evening, you will be given the choice between a river excursion or bird watching expedition of the woodland patches or gallery forest along the river to look for the Agami Heron. Enjoy a later evening walk along the grasslands beside the airstrip with the chance to see seven different species of nightjar, and Double-Striped Thick-Knees.

Today offers you a full day tour of Georgetown, the stunning Guyanese capital. We will start our tour with a visit to culinary master Chef Delven Adams, who will guide us around the Bourda Market, the largest market in the country. Here, we will enjoy learning for the sellers at the market stalls, selling diverse goods ranging from fish to fabrics to bush medicine. Chef Adams will purchase his ingredients based on your wishes and head home to begin preparing your meal while you continue onto your tour of Georgetown.
This tour will be a mix of a vehicle and walking tour, taking you around the historic buildings of the city, such as the Victoria Law Courts, St. Andrew’s Kirk, Stabroek Market, and St. George’s Cathedral. We will continue onto the botanical gardens, and a pond in either the gardens or a national park to feed manatees.
We will then enjoy lunch at the Backyard Cafe, Chef Adam’s little gem of a restaurant in his backyard. Here, you can watch as he prepares your meal, with your courses commencing as soon as he finishes.
