Itinerary

DAY 1
Lima

Upon arrival you will be transferred to hotel.

DAY 2
Lima

Tour of modern and colonial city of Lima including a visit to the Larco museum, Peru’s largest private collection of gold artefacts from its many civilisations.

DAY 3
Lima - Cuzco -Sacred Valley

Transfer to the airport, fly to Cuzco. Transfer to your hotel located in the Sacred Valley.

Sacred Valley

Explore the Sacred Valley and learn about the traditional customs and ancestral weaving techniques in the indigenous town of Chinchero.

Continue to Moray, an impressive Inca agricultural research facility and finish at the Ollantaytambo fortress.

DAY 5
Sacred Valley - Machu Picchu

Start your two-day trip to the unforgettable ruins of Machu Picchu with a beautiful train journey to Aguas Calientes. On arrival, shuttle bus up the mountain where you will be guided through this beautiful forgotten citadel.

DAY 6
Machu Picchu - Cuzco

Morning free to explore the ruins at your own pace (fee not included), before catching the train back to Cuzco.

Cuzco

Half day city tour of some of the most iconic sites in and around Cuzco including the cathedral, Q’oricancha (the temple of the sun) and the fortress of Sacsayhuaman.

Cuzco - Puno

Bus journey  across the Altiplano to Puno on the shores of Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world.

Lake Titicaca

Full day tour of Uros & Taquile Islands, to visit the communities that live on these reed islands.

Puno - Lake Titicaca - La Paz

Cross from Peru into Bolivia, via the lovely lakeside village of Copacabana with its remarkable church, before boarding a comfortable catamaran to begin the scenic crossing of the magical Lake Titicaca. Stop at the mysterious Sun Island before continuing onto La Paz.

La Paz

Half day city tour including the rock formations of Moon Valley. Also learn about the local “Pacenos” customs and traditions including a trip to the local witchery market.

La Paz - Uyuni

Morning flight to Uyuni.  Visit to the awe-inspiring Salt Flats and Incahuasi Island.

Uyuni – Ojo De Perdiz

Continue through many villages including  San Cristobal and Alota the Valley of the Rocks, Hedionda Lagoon before arriving at Ojo de Perdiz.

Visit to Red Lagoon and Green Lagoon before arriving in San Pedro de Atacama

San Pedro De Atacama

Morning tour to the Moon Valley  and Salt mountain the driest inhospitable place on earth. Afternoon visit to the Atacama salt flat and Chaxa Lagoon to observe flamingos.

Half day tour to the impressive Tatio Geysers located at 4,320 meters above sea level.

Transfer to Calama airport, flight to Santiago. On arrival transfer to your hotel.

Santiago

Half day city tour of Santiago, dramatically set at the foot of the Andes mountains. Discover the city’s many layers of cultural influence, visit “La Moneda” government house and try some pisco sour.

Visit Chile’s renowned winery, Cousiño-Macul, the only 19th century winery in Chile that remains in the hands of the original founding family.
