Tour Overview

The Juma Amazon Lodge is located in a remote and untouched region 100km southeast of Manaus. The lodge as been carefully designed to be full integrated to the rainforest environment, minimising man’s footprint while enabling visitors to enjoy and preserve the flora and fauna of the surrounding jungle. There are 8 standard bungalows and 12 lake side bungalows all nestled among the treetops.

Please note choose 3 day or 4 day package stays at the lodge.

Itinerary

DAY 1
Manaus - Juma Lodge

Pick up at your hotel in Manaus hotel. Late morning arrival at the lodge. After lunch, canoeing around Juma Lake. Alligator spotting in the evening

Juma Lodge

Early morning nature hike where the guides will introduce you to native plants suitable for medicinal purposes and those which are edible. Lunch and afternoon piranha fishing

Morning picnic followed by a visit to a local indigenous village
