Tour Overview
Mashpi Lodge, a luxury cocoon in the clouds a merer three hours northwest of Ecaudor’s capital Quito, opened its doors last April to recieve its first guests, following four years of construction and 14 years since the land was first acquired. This sophisticated and strikingly-contemporary lodge is designed as the ideal springboard for exploring the biodiverse world of its reserve. A hideaway in the clouds is only accessible to its guests and located on a high plateau, Mashpi lodge offers views of the forested mountains on one side and the forest right up close on the other through its floor-to-ceiling glass windows. Enjoy the many night and day activities offered including the aerial tram.

Travel by road into the Mashpi Biodiversity Reserve, stopping at Hummingbird Viewpoint, before arriving at the lodge. Afternoon activities include trekking and visiting wonderful waterfalls. Before dinner, guest will meet their naturalist guide for a briefing about the next day’s activities.
