Tierra Hotel, Atacama Desert
Wow this place IS amazing! The Atacama Desert in Chile has so much more to offer than what you expect. At a height of 4,320m above sea level, we braved the high altitude, and the -10° temperatures. We saw the amazing El Tatio Geisers and hot springs while we watched the sunrise over a delicious breaky. Enjoy sitting back with a beverage while witnessing the stunning sunsets over the Atacama Salt Flats. We went on tour to see the beautiful Pink Flamingos . Visit the Moon Valley lookout to see the stunning views of the Andes Mountains and some active volcanoes. Lastly, the Atacama Desert is known to be one of the best places on earth for Star gazing. Thanks to its lack of artificial light and endless expanse of untouched desert. The hotel has access to the largest public telescope in the region as well as expert guides who are on hand to talk about the stars you can see with your naked eye. They will guide you to see other constellations which you can only see through their large telescope.
