A visit to the majestic Iguazu falls is one of the most breathtaking experiences in South America. Situated on the border between Brazil and Argentina, they lie 19 km upriver from the confluence of the Rio Iguazu and the Rio Alta Parana. The Iguazu river basin extends over some 62,000 sq km. The river rises up in the hills near Curitiba and flows 1,300 km across the Paraná Plateau receiving the waters from about 30 rivers before reaching the falls. Here 275 falls plunge over a precipice of more than a two and half kilometers, with an average drop of 100 meters to the river below.

Today you will be picked up from your hotel and embark on a full day guided tour walking along the many tracks on the side of the river and viewing the falls from platforms that bring you extremely close to the water. The iguazu River flows east west for 080 miles and then drops suddenly and a violently into a 262 foot abyss at the falls. Set amidst the jungle, a visit to these falls will be an unforgettable experience.
Today you will have a tour visiting the Brazilian side of the falls. Visiting the falls from the Brazilian side, it will give you a completely different perspective of the side of this amazing falls, as you will have the panoramic view of the entire falls. You will then be transferred to the airport for your outbound flight.
