Begin your journey in the coastal city of Rio de Janeiro, a stunning city backed by mountains fronted by sea before continuing to the natural beauty of Iguazu Falls. The tour concludes in Argentina’s charming capital of Buenos Aires exploring the chic districts of Recoleta and Palermo and of course, a tango show.

Itinerary

DAY 1
Arrive in Rio de Janeiro

On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

DAY 2
Rio de Janeiro

Half Day SUGAR LOAF & PANORAMIC CITY TOUR

Passengers will be picked-up from their hotel between 8:00am and 9:00am, depending on the hotel location, for a half-day tour and panoramic tour of downtown and stopping at the Metropolitan Cathedral, which was built in a pyramidal form with an internal diameter of 96 meters, and a height of 80 meters. Walk through the Aterro do Flamengo and arrive to the neighborhood of Urca where one of the largest symbols of the city is located: Sugar Loaf. You will travel all the way to the top in two stages by cable car. The first cable car takes us to Urca Hill, a vantage point 215 meters high with beautiful views of Guanabara Bay and its islands, the Rio-Niterói Bridge and Corcovado Mountain. From this stage, a second cable car takes us up to the top. At 395 meters we will enjoy splendid views of Copacabana beach, the Santa Cruz fortress and several beaches of Niterói. After riding the Cable car back down, return to the hotel.

RIO BY NIGHT: SAMBA SHOW GINGA TROPICAL (Only on: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday)

Ginga Tropical show – A multicultural Brazilian show that gathers on stage various cultures of our Tropical Country.

A show that combines diversity and culture: The “Ziriguidum”, the Northeast, the Amazon and the Pampas with its Folklore. Bahia with its Capoeira, their mystical rituals and Rio de Janeiro with its incomparable bohemian Lapa, their dance halls and the performance of the legendary Tricksters and the luxurious Carnival, with fantastic drummers and beautiful dancers.

OPTIONAL TOUR IN RIO DE JANEIRO AVAILABLE

H/D BARRA DE TIJUCA & PANORAMIC OF OLIMPIC PARK – duration approx. 6 hours – Private service with English speaking guide

The tour offers guests a better idea of the geography and topography of the city with its marvellous landscape – the city built between the sea and the mountains!

Drive along a scenic road with beach views, at São Conrado beach. Continue to the Barra da Tijuca Beach – Rio’s longest beach, stretching over 18km, then finally a panoramic view of the Olympic park – the heart of the Rio 2016 Games.

H/D CORCOVADO – duration approx. 4 hours – SIB basis with bilingual guide

Passengers will be picked-up from their hotel between 8:00am and 9:00am, depending on the hotel location, proceeding for a half-day tour of Corcovado Mountain and Beaches. Board a cog train from Cosme Velho Station for a ride to Corcovado Mountain to visit one of the world’s most famous landmarks, the gigantic statue of Christ the Redeemer.

Rio de Janeiro – Foz do Iguassu

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Foz do Iguassu

On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Afternoon tour of Brazilian side of the Falls.  Departure in vehicle heading to the National Park of the Brazilian Falls. The tour starts with a visit to the Main Center of the park, where you will have the opportunity to get some hints about the local ecosystem. From there hike along the most important trail of the park where the you can enjoy an astonishing view of the waterfalls. From the local belvedere you will have a privileged sight of the both parks of the waterfalls. Return to the main point via the panoramic elevator.

OPTIONAL TOUR IN IGUASSU AVAILABLE

VISIT THE BIRD PARK (Extension of Brazilian side Falls)

Located at the entrance of the National Park Bird Park is an ecological sanctuary, linking ecotourism with conservation. Huge nurseries provide a basic understanding of some 900 birds, 150 species. Brazilian birds predominate, but there are species from Australia, Africa and Asia represented. It also develops a recognized work of education, research and Environmental conservation. Other attractions include a butterfly nursery with approximately 25 species of reptiles, where you can see snakes and alligators from just a few meters away.

Foz do Iguassu

HALF DAY ARGENTINEAN SIDE OF THE FALLS – 05Hrs. Approx.SIB basis with bilingual guide (Spanish & English)

Transfer ahead to Argentina side with a quick stop at customs checks. After that, the tour continues to the Tancredo Neves Bridge over the Iguassu River, which separates the border between Argentina and Brazil. Once in Argentina, take a scenic highway up to the Argentine Iguassu Park where you will have a spectacular view of the Argentinean Falls, with access to the very brink of the awe-inspiring Devil’s Throat, largest of the Argentinean Falls, including the San Martin Falls. On the way back from the falls a stop at the “Three Borders” Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay meet.

OPTIONAL WITH EXTRA COST

THE BIG ADVENTURE TOUR (Argentinean side) – SIB Boat (Minimum 02 passengers)

The tour combines rainforest and waterfalls. We will drive trucks into the vast wild vegetation joined by experienced guides. We will get off at the pier and board a boat to sail the Iguazú Inferior river canyon, rafting the river rapids to appreciate falls from the San Martín island peaceful backwater. Then we will visit the Tres Mosqueteros (Three Musketeers) falls, and Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat) will crown the tour. Sailing the coast of the island, we will get to the next exciting point: the San Martín falls, the greatest a boat can approach.

IMPORTANT: We recommend taking a second pair of shoes, informal clothes in order to change because in the Great Adventure excursion everyone will get wet.

This is the perfect tour to discover the charm of Argentina’s capital, from the chic districts of Recoleta and Palermo, to historic Plaza de Mayo, and architectural icons such as the Colon opera house, the Metropolitan Cathedral and the palace of Congress. The program finishes in old town San Telmo, home of the city’s aristocracy until the late 19th century; Caminito street, in La Boca, the colorful shelter for Italian immigrants by the Riachuelo, and the young thriving restaurant scene at the Puerto Madero waterfront.

DINNER AND TANGO SHOW AT ALJIBE TANGO WITH ROUND TRIP TRANSFERS

Famous for its amazing nightlife and for being the land of Carlos Gardel, Buenos Aires countless gastronomic and artistic options. Tango portrays the ‘Queen of the River Plate’ (‘Reina del Plata’). We will enjoy an unforgettable night, surrender to the magic of this city that never sleeps and to the charm of this overwhelming and sanguine music —main protagonist of the night— while enjoying the best of its varied gastronomic offer. This typical early 20th century house is an ideal stage for a unique show: 15 artists, one tango orchestras, a folk music group, dancers and singer.

A DAY AT THE PAMPAS: FULL DAY GAUCHA AT SANTA SUSANA RANCH – (Minimum 02 passengers)

Home to the gaucho, the humid pampa is one of the most fertile natural prairies in the world and is famous for its production of beef and cereals. Only a few kilometres away from the City of Buenos Aires, in a natural environment with beautiful landscapes, we will be honoured with their typical national asado, empanadas, and excellent Argentinian wines. The wild smell of the countryside will invite us to break away from routine and discover a charming hundred-year-old rural tradition in the midst of the XXI century. Folk songs and dances, equestrian activities, and unbeatable shows of traditional gaucho skills, such as ring races, cuadreras (horse races), entrevero de tropillas (horse games): let’s live the traditional lifestyle of Argentinian ranches through the gaucho, the greatest symbol of these lands.
